Empowering Young Minds: Life Skills Training at Government High School, Yeshwantapura

Asmithe Global Foundation is set to launch an impactful student development initiative at Government High School, Yeshwantapura. An interactive, hands-on module covering effective communication, critical thinking, emotional resilience, problem-solving and positive decision-making.

Student Identity Cards Distribution

We will distribute official photo ID cards to enrolled high school students, to build a strong sense of school identity, inclusion and formal belonging.

Nutri Microgreens Training Project

This initiative trains rural women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and youth in high-value, protected microgreens farming. Key highlights of the initiative

Practical knowledge

Hands-on training in seed sanitisation, low-EC coco-peat preparation, micro-climate control and food-safe harvesting, with technical guidance from ICAR–KVK Ramanagara.

Hub-and-spoke enterprise model

Trainees manage local tray cultivation, while our central aggregation unit handles packaging and cold-chain delivery to Bengaluru’s culinary and organic retail markets.

Sustainable livelihoods

Rural women and youth receive take-home micro-starter kits to build steady household income within 45 km of major consumption hubs.
